Two ACT workers were recently showered with concrete after entering an unsafe zone where concrete was being discharged. The area was not identified with bunting nor were other workers tasked to protect the discharge zone, ACT WorkCover notes in the attached alert.

The incident follows the fatality in Victoria last year, where a worker was struck on the head by a concrete pump hose. More information.
