Support families hurt by Tsunami

The CFMEU is calling on all members to donate generously to support families who have been hurt by the devastating earthquake and subsequent Tsunami in the Pacific Islands.

"There are many Samoan and Tongan construction workers on our jobs. Many CFMEU members may have family or friends who have been affected by this tragedy. Our hearts go out to them at this time," said Dave Noonan, National Secretary of the CFMEU Construction Division.

"We urge members to assist in whatever way they can."

Donate on-site or to Red Cross Appeal

The CFMEU is promoting on-site collections for victims of the tsunami.

Members can also donate directly to the Red Cross Pacific Tsunami (Samoa & Tonga) Appeal 2009.

But let your CFMEU Branch know that you have donated so we can acknowledge members’ generosity.
